Today, Brian, I, and my mother went with Abbie and Jack to a radiologists to view
4-D ultrasound scans of Meghan Elizabeth in order to meet with her face to face. But true to the Baker family's ways, she was stubborn and refused to let her face show. I got to see a bit. And the moment I saw that beautiful face, I fell in love with her. Of course, did anybody expect otherwise? She is my first grandchild, my long-awaited granddaughter.
We got to see her gender. She was not shy about that. But she was sleeping; and no matter what we did, she refused to wake up. Jack played classical music and rock-and-roll on his iPhone, put it on Abbie's belly to enable Meghan to hear it, and she still refused to wake up. She has an interesting habit of sleeping with her hands up on the air, above her head, and hold her toes at the same time. It's amazing what modern technology is achieving. I am able to see this new person before she comes out to the world.
As Meghan was not cooperating, the radiologists rescheduled the procedure for this coming Wednesday. I hope that she cooperates. I'd love to share the pictures with my flist.
PS.: The link shows a representation of what we actually saw. These pictures are not of Meghan. As I said earlier, since her face was not very visible, the radiologists wants to give us another chance before pictures and videos are taken.
