My kindle looked like this:

And this is what it looks like today:

And now I have a question:
I finished reading The Reader. I highly recommend it. Now I have a choice of two books to read:
1. Three Cups of Tea: One Man's Mission to Promote Peace . . . One School at a Time by by Greg Mortenson and David Oliver Reli
or
2. Chocolat by Joanne Harris
Which one should I read first?

Date: 2009-03-26 08:53 am (UTC)I wasn't impressed with the werewolf effects either, but then, while the art direction is always awesome, I'm often disappointed with the FX in the Potter films. But how about Madeye Moody? Nothing against Brendan Gleeson, but he was nothing at all like I pictured the character when reading the book!
The third book is my second favorite (it was my first favorite till I read the sixth). Of course, my favorites are the ones where Snape figures most prominently. :)

Yes, Mad-Eye wasn't anything at all like I pictured him either. I thought his glass eye popped into his empty eye socket - I didn't envision it as a strap-on, haha.
Snape's my second-favourite character, but I can't remember HBP too well now, just the basic plot points. But then, the only HP book that I've reread again and again is Prisoner of Azkaban...
