The Good News: Because of the fire, new servers needed to be acquired, which means that we will all be upgraded. Probably, no one will notice it as of yet, but the service will be better and faster.
The Bad News: The new servers are being moved to a new location. This means that the forum will get a new DNS. It will go from 64.246.60.110 to another. (I don't have the new DNS, yet.) Generally, it takes a while for the new DNS to update. I remember that when we moved michaelemerson. net to my server room in my house, it took a few days for the DNS to update. Sorry folks about the bad news.
The Allround News: Proboards is working around the clock to fix this problem.
And in case, you are computer geek, here's what Proboards had to say:
Some ISP's and computers can cache this old DNS information for longer than they should.
If the server is showing on the status page as online, but you still get the "page cannot be displayed" error, you have been affected by this, and must wait for your internet providers cache to update with the new location.
In some cases restarting your computer can help if it is only your machine which issuing outdated information.
If this does not help, unfortunately you will need to wait for this update to happen.
