Garrison Keillor's brother died on Friday as a result of a head injury he suffered 12 before while ice skating. Today, Garrison published a nice eulogy to his oldest brother. I don't have any living siblings. Mine died before I was born. I cannot fathom what it is like to lose someone with whom you've had so much history. The closest that comes to my mind is the feeling I had when I lost my best friend 18-months ago. My condolences go out to him and his family, and especially to his brother's youngest granddaughter who was there and witnessed her grandfather's fatal fall.
