Sad Event

Today, while in Omaha, I had to say good-bye to my dog Zack Curry. He was diagnosed with cancer of the spleen. I left the house with a healthy dog, only to get a phone call from my husband at about 5 pm that Zack was listless and not eating. (This dog was always hungry.) Hubby took him to the vet. Diagnosis: untreatable cancer. He was euthanized because he was in dire pain.

I am so terribly sorry to hear that, my dog means so much to me as well. Theres nothing to say in times like these, except try to keep your chin up and look at the bright side -- at least your dog isn't in anymore pain now.
