Could it be that this woman is suffering from postpartum depression? Her erratic behavior might be pointing to that.

Before we stone her, let's make sure we understand what is going on with her. She is more than likely crying out for help.

I feel very sorry for her now. I can't not like her, we don't know what shes going through. But she needs time OUT of the media. She needs to spend time with her thoughts.

I don't like her either, but I am beginning to feel sorry for her. The media is not helping her.

*rofl* Well, I did the same thing once too. Shaved a bald head LOL
I just wanted to know how it feels and looks.

But yeah, she has problems. No wonder, hard business she is in.

It's not just the shaving of her head; it's her entire bizarre behavior.

We had a magazine shot of her showing her arse cheeks as she walked down the street as she was only wearing a long top and no panties- if that is not a cry for help then I don't know what is.

Having fame and fortune is one thing, being able to deal with it responsibly is another.

I'm not a fan of her, but I feel sorry for her and think she needs time away with her children

Plus, that twat of an ex of hers is really not helping- threatening her with custody battles and the like. It's not helping his children either, no kid wants to see mummy and daddy ear each other apart. I understand he may not love her any more but he should at least try to help her, for the childrens sake if nothing else.

Federline does not have a good track record either. She should have thought about marrying him. Poor girl.

Am I the only person who doesn't think she looks that bad? Like fat or nasty or whatever the uproar seems to be? I'm not saying I like that kind of dress; I just don't understand all the hoopla.

No, you are not the only one. Her figure is fine. There is no need to be anorexic looking. Her behavior is just not very mature or she may be suffering some mental breakdown.

I have no doubt that she's crying out for help. It breaks my heart. Especialyl after last night I was looking at some fanvideos of her song "Mona Lisa" that had entirely different lyrics to the version I've heard. Not that people don't change lyrics before mastering a song, but it's the lyrics that were changed that concern me.

never was a fan, and likely never will be, but she's an example of a family forgetting that thier child is a whole person, (not a cash cow or industry) who deserves to grow up with a little structure, a few BOUNDARIES and a lot more of the right kind of attention. I don;t blame her for freaking the hell out, but she won't really get help till she's ready, esp since no one around her is likely to tell her the truth.

She is a woman who's never had a grounded, mature adult in her life to be there during those moments as a teenager and as a young woman veers off and needs that vital, often unwanted, feedback that helps keeps people on course. This is a girl who's raised herself in a culture that thrives on fantasy, exploitation and warped values and views of what it means to be a girl or a woman.

Her performance was very sad, but even more deplorable are the show producers who invited her on, having a pretty good idea that she wouldn't be able to hold it together and that that would make for good TV. Anyone with a right mind knows this woman is no place right now to go on stage. She needs time to get straight. She may never be altogether stable but who knows, really. Even Courtney Love eventually has grown up and is in better shape than she was during her Hole and post-Cobain era. She might not be my idea or your idea of a responsible person but then again we aren't living her life and have never had to traverse the psychological territory she has.

I hope Britney can one day find her dignity, sanity and serenity. She may have to find it somewhere far away from the public eye and that's going to be tough to give that up, but I think that's just what she needs.
