spicedogsI can't believe that I am actually putting my thoughts out there in Cyberspace. That was something that I thought I would never do. But the show LOST came on and I found a need to express myself about the show. I have never been involved in a show that is so fantastically good, addictive, stimulating, and thought provoking. Hence, I found myself wanted to tell anyone who would care to listen. Anyway, enough rambling.
This past Wednesday's show was not what I'd call "a mind-boggling" episode. Nonetheless, it was a good episode. We found out that Sun is pregnant. We found out that although Jin was not able to father any children in Korea, he is now going to be a father. There is an element of doubt left for the audience, because Sun, we find out, learned English by being tutored by the person who rejected her when they were courting for an American. The audience is now left wondering could Sun have committed adultery? Sun swore to Jin that there was no other. Jin accepted it as a miracle. When Sun and Jin hug, Sun has a doubtful facial expression. I personally believe that Sun is telling Jin the truth. I don't think that she cheated on Jin. She just started feeling the first pangs of pregnancy. They have been on the island for about 2 months. Had she been impregnated by the other guy, she would have felt it much earlier. Now the question is, What will that mean for the future of the Losties?
Another thing we learned is that Henry Gale is definitely playing mind games with Locke and Jack. He picked up on the fact that our Losties don't communicate and have no curiosity about anything regarding the hatch that they now live in. My favorite line is when Henry kept telling Locke and Jack that if he were an Other, he would ambush Ana Lucia and her entourage and have his people use them to bargain for Henry's release, etc. His GOT ANY MILK? final line was awesome. So awesome that it made my creative juices flow and I made the picture I posted earlier.
