I am sick and tired about people complaining about LOST not giving answers and just providing questions. I devised a method of thinking that enables me to enjoy LOST without worrying about questions unanswered; maybe it will work for you:

I think of LOST as one of those real thick novels (like Crime and Punishment, for example). It is so thick and complicated that it takes a long time to read. There are lot of boring chapters that you must muddle through because it will be needed eventually when you are reading the last few pages of the novel. As you turn the last page, the book makes sense and you get a great feeling of having read the book and a sad feeling because the book is over.

So, if you really loved the book or wanted to get some points that you may have missed in the interim, you start rereading it. Because we live in the 21st Century, we have the same privilege with LOST: We can rewatch the DVDs.

I'm sick of people crying about not enough answers, too. Yep. They have more questions. If they up and answered everything completely right away, the show would be over by now. People seriously need to get a grip and learn how to enjoy the show for what it is. After all, that's what made it great in the first place. The show became a top-rated program without having had "fans" tell them what to do. They don't need our input now.

/end rant
