Yeah I always thought it was claire but they gave her another name like mariel or sofia i forgot what, so I dropped the idea but this makes sense, well to me anyway. :P

I have to say I got alot of "ewwwww" when I told people my theory because of how scary he was acting towards the losties but I really couldn't shake the feeling there was more than meets the eye with ethan and claire.

And like (almost) everyone else I saw this as a metaphor for her remembering, when so clearly it's not.

Does the fact that she was time travelling at that point make her somehow 'special' (in the sense that the other Losties didn't time travel until after the island was moved)? - this would maybe indicate why Aaron is special and why Ben is so keen to get him back to the island. Is this also why we saw her in Jacob's cabin at the end of last season?

After watching "The little prince" this picture doesn`t seem so shoking as it could be seemed before watching. :) After Saywer met Claire and Kate in jungles.

But I didn`t notice that when I watched Maternity Leave... I`ll switch my dvd on now and watch it again, now more carefully.
