I was not blown away by this week's episode of LOST. Am I the only one? Despite it all, I did find some awesome answers:

My observations (Contains spoils)

1. Whenever I see Desmond and Penny together, I get teary eyed. I do like them as a couple. I'm admitting this: Desmond is hot.

2. Penny and Desmond now have son. Note to actresses who have to fake giving birth: When you are pushing and screaming, your head tilts forward, not backward.

3. I think Charlotte is going to die. Somehow, I have a heart of stone. I really don't care.

4. Faraday confessed that he loves Charlotte.

5. Faraday was a bad scientist. He destroyed a woman's brain and left her. Widmore, however, was the financial backer for his research.

6. Widmore was once an other. So was Mrs. Hawking. They were both British soldiers in 1954 and worked for Richard. I wonder whether Faraday is Hawkings and Widmore's son.

7. Locke is taking on the leadership of the others. Richard went to recruit him because Locke of the future told him to so. However, Locke of the past didn't remember Richard and didn't choose the compass. What a twist in this story.

8. Jughead is a bomb. Wonder whether it's buried in the hatch and was part of the so-called incident.

9. Penny is a good sport. She is willing to follow Desmond and his "memories."

10. Why did the Hume's name their son Charlie when they both fear Charles Widmore. Does this Charlie have anything to do with the Island's stability, I wonder.

Despite all these answers, somehow this episode was not as exciting. But don't get me wrong. I still love the show. Maybe, I was missing Hurley and the gang.

1. I LOVE Des and Penny. Des has never looked better, IMO.

2. If childbirth were as easy as it seemed in this episode, the world would have several billion more people on it than we have now.

3. Oh, I hope not! I like her very much!

4. That was very sweet indeed.

5. Definitely a blot on Dan's record, and perhaps a smidge of humanity to Widmore? Very interesting.

6. Once an Other, always an Other. Dan is definitely Mrs. Hawking's son. He didn't name is rat Eloise for nothing. There's probably another Other knocking about on the island named Christian also, but I suppose that's another revelation for a later episode.

7. God help the Others. The man is not particularly swift in the leadership department. I did love the tieback to Locke's birth story. Well done, writers!

8. Wasn't whatever was being depressurized every 108 minutes encased in concrete?

9. I love, love, love Penny.

10. After Charlie Pace, I imagine.

Good episode. My interest in Lost is purely Jack-related, but I do love Des and Pen, Locke, Sawyer, and Juliet, and really enjoy the Freighties and good old (and I mean OLD) Richard. Good stuff. I love this show so much!!!!!

5. Widmore a human being? Well, he did demonstrated that when he let Desmond go.

6. I will love to see how Christian Shepherd fares in the storyline.

7. I still don't understand how Locke didn't seem to remember Richard when he first saw him with the Others, yet, he told Richard to visit him. Did he change the past or did he know the future. I need to think this one out.

8. I think Desmond was depressurizing something else. Some magnetic pull, not radiation.

10. It makes sense.

5. I know. I love how they keep tweaking characters in realistic and unexpected ways.

6. The Shephards are deeply embedded in the Island mythology and the endgame of the story. It's just a matter of how.

7. I know. Why would Desmond not have recognized Dan when Dan knocked on the door to tell him to go visit his mom? He already "met" him in "The Constant." And the whole scenario of Desmond saying to Penny in "The Constant" that he would never contact her or see her for umpteen years was also kind of blown out of the water when Penny tracked him down in the stadium, yes? I think sometimes they just trip themselves up. :D

8. Makes sense. Also, the Swan is in the middle of the jungle, right? And Jughead is out in the open. So...never mind about that theory! :)
