WTF and Why US?

My 92-year-old mom called and she sounded all shook up. Apparently, our refrigerator door fell and barely missed her. She surely would have died or some part of her body would have been broken severly if the door had fallen on her. I called the repair people. They can come out on Friday. Today is Wednesday. WTF? What happens to my food till then? Grrrrr.....

Yes, I don't care about the food that much. It is a second refrig and we keep mostly drinks and fruits. So it is not that drastic, except that the ice cream is kept in that refrig. Oh, well, onto a forced diet.

I know the feeling-- whenever there's blackouts here we're constantly trying to salvage our food. I'm glad she's okay, but that's a weak door to just fall like that!

I have this refrigerator since 1998. This should not have happened. The screws loosened up. WTF.

Two days without the door?? WTF??? What's the point of having a refrigerator if you don't have a door? *kicks them*
