What is twitter?

It's a form of communicating with others who have a twitter. It then sends me a synopsis of all the messages I wrote to the twitter. I used to use it (when it wasn't blocked at work) on the forum. That way, the members knew where I was and what I was doing.

Yes, but the messages are instanteneous. I get them on my firefox at home and I get them on my phone away from home.

Not for me. I need to wait for my e-mail to tell me that someone replied.

Anyway, the Twitter is useful if you want a lot of people to know where you are, what you are doing, etc. You can place one on your blog and people can see what you are up to. I had one on my board as well, and my members were able to know whether I was available or not.
