Desperate Crowd Demands LOST, Now
APA, by Edith S. Baker
All over the world, LOST fans are climbing the walls in desperation. They are demanding that LOST should air immediately. Many fans are suffering from horrible withdrawal symptoms. Many fans are suffering from lack of sleep because they are worried that a number of their favorite characters may not survive the season. "It's not the character's death that I worry about it," said an ardent fan, "it’s the horrible wait period that we are subjected to. I cannot take anymore of not knowing what is going on."
One fan, who asked to be anonymous, was crying over the fate of Ben Linus. Would he, or wouldn't he survive the surgery? "I just can't stand the wait. I think I will die of anxiety attack," she said.
Some fans are worried that Kate and Sawyer will not be able to escape the island or worse, yet, that their newly consummated love affair will not survive.
Many are worried about Jack Shepherd. The famous spinal surgeon, who is believed to be a miracle worker, may have put his life on the line by letting Ben Linus bleed on the operating table. "I love Jack," Mary D. said. "If they kill him off, I will kill myself. And the wait is killing me."
A fan who wants to be known as "K" is very worried about Locke. "I hope that he will be able to find himself and go save the castaways," she was heard saying while sobbing on the cell phone with her mother.
"Hurley, man, Hurley. I need to see him," John W., was muttering, while attempting to dial "4 8 15 16 23 42" on his cell phone.
ABC television, in anticipation of the desperate mob approaching their premises, locked the gates to its headquarters. Angry fans were spotted trying to climb it.
Hopefully, February 7, 2007 will bring an end to the desperation that these fans are feeling.
