 I recently posted Garrison Keillor's essay about Mother's Day:  http://spicedogs.livejournal.com/246263.html/. It was a nice post encouraging you to contact your mom. After all, she suffered a lot of pain to have you. 

Today, Robert Dougherty of the Michael Emerson Fan Board posted this on the forum:

When it comes to Lost, neither Mother's or especially Father's Day seems like a happy occasion for everyone on the show. But Macy's put out a little Lost-related ad for the upcoming Mother's Day holiday. I only bring it up because it relates to "The Shape of Things to Come" found at http://lostmediamentions.blogspot.com/2008/05/macys-lost-mothers-day-advert.html




I find it to be one of the grossest ad ever. What do you think?

It's a hoax. According to Melissaq9 of MEFB,

"This isn't a real ad or card. This was made by a reader over at the PopCandy blog spoofing the Mother's Day cards on the ABC website. I think it is pretty funny but if it was real it would be in pretty bad taste."

I still think that it is in bad taste and Macy's could sue the "artist."
