Michael Emerson Reveals Spoilers in a Telephone Interview

 Michael Emerson recently had  a telephone interview with Metro Editor Will Glover. In the interview he discusses some spoilers for the rest of Season 4. During the interview, you can hear Michael Emerson trying to do his best to try and not spill the beans too much by taking an extra second to think before he answers the question, but he still provides us with some minor spoilers.

Most of the info we already know. However, he does say that the show will move forward, backward and "sideways" in time! Is he hinting at possible alternate time lines?

Here is a summary of the spoilers:
1) Ben has a lot to do in the next few episodes in a lot of "different places"
2) Ben will get some good airtime
3) We move around in time, forward, backward and "sideways"
4) Remaining episodes are violent and gaining speed down hill
5) New characters are very "wicked" and "dangerous" so you will like Ben more because he is not as "bad"

There is a little more to the interview and, unfortunately, the sound quality is not the best, but it is still always good to listen to Michael. Emerson.

Yay! I loves me some proactive Ben. :-)

2) Ben will get some good airtime

Considering that Michael chewing on vegetables and saying "I *always* have a plan" pretty much ruled that entire episode, "good airtime" is a bonus

3) We move around in time, forward, backward and "sideways"

I have to be honest, I'm not a fan of the flashforward thing at all. Now, it's true, I totally SQUEEd and did a little Snoopy dance of joy when I recognized his voice on the cellphone in Sayid's FF, but, for me, the FF remove a lot of tension in the show. The next time Ben is in peril on The Island, I'll feel like I always did when Captain Kirk was in peril: "Bogus, he's going to survive, let's move on to something more interesting".

[chanting] Kill Jack! Kill Jack! Kill Jack!

Oh. Wait. It's that damn FF thing again. :-(

5) New characters are very "wicked" and "dangerous" so you will like Ben more because he is not as "bad"

What is this bad he speaks of? :-) I've only had a pang of "Oh shit!" once in all the time Ben has been around: "How can you possibly not understand? You're MINE" to Juliet. Sending Goodwin to his doom? Capturing the three chuckleheads? Mentally and physically tormenting them? The Purge? *tee hee* Shooting John in to The DHARMA Pit of Death? Blasting Charlotte Staples Lewis twice (He should have aimed a little higher)? [dismissive wave of hand] Nothing! But be a psychotic possessor of Juliet really squicked me out.

Mileage will vary, of course!

Thanks for the spoilers! I've been pretty spoiler free so far this year, but I knew Michael was going to say all that much, he's very crafty in interviews.
