Michael Emerson in his first TV gig

Michael Emerson's first TV gig was a made-for-TV movie called Orpheus Descending. It was really a reenactment of Tennessee Williams' play, starring Vanessa Redgrave. Michael had a really small part. He played a clown. You cannot see him, but his voice is very pronounced.  Enjoy....

Oh my, this is strange. I tried to understand what they were saying, but couldn't get all of it...

Vanessa has an Italian-Southern accent. The Southern accent is equivalent to Brazilian's nordestinos. They are, at times, difficult to understand. Don't worry about the dialogue. It was not important. This is just to showcase Michael Emerson's first Television show.

Oh, that's why i couldn't figure out what she was saying, LOL!
But, you're right, we can distinguish his voice very well on the background.
