I did. Now all my things that I had on iTunes (even the ones we recovered this weekend) are gone forever.

It might. It depends on the service and how much they can recover. (It also depends on what the files are worth to you.)The size of the drive may make a difference too. My mom paid around $30 to get some of her writing from a corrupted disk.(she now backs it up on a flash drive) I'm sure a whole hard drive would cost more. (The services we checked out also charge by how much they can recover.)

It wouldn't hurt to do some checking around.

That's a lot.
I'll have to do some checking and see if my mom has the names of the companies she contacted written down. I'll probably have some information I can e-mail you this weekend.
