Michael Emerson Rocks

The MEFB forum members sent a package to Michael Emerson sending him cards and good wishes for a happy birthday. He was so kind in his answer. He actually sent me a personal note, which I am not sharing here, but I am sharing with the board members. Suffice to say that I love the man. I also wrote him for permission to post this picture and he gave it to me:



Aren't they adorable? They were doing Hamlet at the MacCarter Theater in Princeton, NJ. He was Claudius and she was Ophelia. They look so much in love. 

He also autographed my LOST magazine for me:

Waaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh, people got to see Michael as Claudius! Waaaahhhhh! :-( :-( I freaked out a bit there when I read that, I was all "Wait! Michael did a play during the hiatus? He did Hamlet?!?! With Carrie? Why didn't I hear about this?!?! Oh, fark!". OK, I didn't say "fark" but something else :-), but luckily I clicked on the picture and saw the date stamp: 2000. Whew! Claudius is a superb part, I bet Michael actually elicited sympathy for that loathsome character.

They look totally adorable together, as usual, and, as usual, I'm jealous that Carrie gets to have HIS arms wrapped around her. *SIGH* :-)

I hope that he has seen it. He doesn't mention it. However, I cannot imagine that he has not ventured to see it after I mentioned it a few times in a few letters. I certainly would be curious, if I were him.
