Bernadette Peters Promotes Broadway Barks!

Two-time Tony Award winner Bernadette Peters, who will join Mary Tyler Moore to co-host Broadway Barks! 9 on July 14, will help promote the annual fundraiser with a slew of television appearances.
Peters will guest on "Live with Regis and Kelly" July 10; the "CW11 Morning News" July 13; and the "Weekend Today" show July 14; the latter will also feature an appearance by Mary Tyler Moore. Peters will be accompanied on each of her talk-show visits by animals from New York City shelters, who are all available for adoption.
Mary Tyler Moore will also appear on the July 11 broadcast of ABC-TV's "The View."
Co-hosted by Tony winner Peters and Emmy winner Moore, the dog and cat adopt-a-thon benefits New York City animal shelters and adoption agencies. Produced by Broadway Care/Equity Fights AIDS, the afternoon includes celebrity presentations of pets from animal shelters throughout the city. The celebrity presentations will begin at 5:30 PM, although the event kicks off in Shubert Alley at 3:30 PM.
