Katie you are right. We don't know what the underlying reason for accepting the assignment was. It could have been duress. She could have thought, "Hey, these men are willing to kill my ex-husband; what could they do to me." But I look upon this essay as a satirical view of Juliet's character.
Now, what will the future bring them. Will they be in the cages that Sawyer and Kate were. Will they consummate their lust for each other? Wow, inquiring minds want to know so much.
And, yes, I, too, would love to learn how this weak woman became so strong.
