spicedogs: (Queen of Trivia)

One of the forums about LOST that I belong to Generally Speaking Lost Forum , which happens to be my absolute favorite forum has a trivia contest every week. I just became the Queen of Trivia this week. I answered all the questions. (This is something I was not able to do ever before, but this trivia was about music, which happens to be my forte.)  Anyway, here are the questions:

1. Name the record label the Lost Soundtrack was released on.

2. Mama Cass' inspirational song "Make Your Own Kind of Music" appeared on two episodes of Lost. She died in the same exact location as what famous drummer who's band rose to fame in the 60's and 70s? I am looking for the NAME of the BAND and the NAME of its DRUMMER.

3. Driveshaft's "You All Everybody" was actually performed by what American recording artist?

4. In "Whatever the Case May Be", Shannon sings Charles Trenet's "La Mer". What means of transportation did Trenet claim Trenet was on when he wrote the song?

5. To console Aaron, Hurley sings James Brown's "I Got You (I Feel Good)" in "The Greater Good". Name two of JAMES BROWNS' 5 most common nicknames. *If you can name ALL 5 for both James Brown and Hurley, I'll throw in an avatar of YOUR fave character!* .

6. Two Patsy Cline songs have been featured in Lost. Coincidentally, Cline died in a plane crash in Tennessee. She never got to record her next song called "Blue". What OTHER country singer scored her (obviously it was not Cline) first #1 hit with that song?

7. Dave Matthew's Band's song "Stay" appeared in "Abandoned". Name the album the band dedicated to Dave's sister,Anne, after she died.

8. In "The Whole Truth", Locke is enjoying The Seed's "Pushin' Too Hard". That song was their only national Top 40 hit they scored, in what year did that happen?

9. In "Fire+Water" & "The 23th Psalm" The Kinks song "She's Evil" is mentioned. In 1963, before they settled on the name The Kinks, they were called The _____ ?

10. Billy Joel's song "Easy Money" appeared in "Everybody Hates Hurley". Joel recently has been returning to his classical influence. What is the name of his first #1 classical album to feature all classical works?
