Political Rambling

spicedogsSadam Hussein is dead. He was executed today. I have mixed feelings about this news. The man was evil, no question about it. I have two simple questions: Is Iraq better off without this man? Are we safer from terrorists?
I think not for both questions. Iraq is in turmoil, and life there is now more precarious than before. As far as we are concerned, I think that we opened up the floodgates to terrorists. Why did we have to invade Iraq? Why aren't we after Osama bin Laden? Why did we not concentrate on Afghanistan?
