shalimar77777 that my next post would be about my traumatic experience of all five of my dogs escaping while at the vet. I will do it, but I saw this meme at miss_sophia's and I couldn't resist it.
Where did you begin 2008?
As we've usually been doing since 1999... at home, hubby sleeping with his girlfriend (our cat Cammie), my mom and I watching TV.
What was your relationship status by Valentine' s Day?
Happily married, even though we squabble and bicker all the time. (It's really hubby's fault. I am perfect.)
Were you in school (anytime this year)?
I had to be trained in the new software system my work obtained for us.
Did you have to go to the hospital?
Only to witness my granddaughter's birth and then to visit the newly formed family..
Did you have any encounters with the police?
Nope.
Where did you go on vacation?
Vacation? What's that?
What did you purchase that was over $500?
Nothing.
Did you know anybody who got married?
My son and my nephew.
Did you move anywhere?
Nope.
What sporting events did you attend?
One or two baseball games between Orioles and Red Sox.
Where do you live now?
In Maryland.
Describe your birthday?
I don't even think I celebrated. I am not unhappy to have them. After all, by having birthdays, there's proof that I am not dead.
What's the one thing you did but thought you would never do in 2008?
I lead a boring life.
What has/have been your favorite moment(s)?
My granddaughter's birth and my son's wedding.
What's something you learned about yourself?
I can actually photograph award winning photos.
Any new additions to your family?
Oh yes, a new daughter-in-law (who brought tons of new relatives to our family) and a granddaughter.
Made new friends?
Yes, through my f-list, through the Michael Emerson forum, the podcasts that I listen to and support, and twitter.
Favorite Night[s] out?
All the nights we get to go out and see my growing family.
Any regrets?
Not reading as much as I should.
What do you want to change in 2009?
Not spending so much time on the Internet.
Other than home, where did you spend most of your time?
Work.
Change your hairstyle?
I'm letting it grow. Otherwise, it is the same style. All I do is shower, wash my hair, and let it dry naturally to its natural curl.
How old did you turn this year?
59. But I feel so much younger than that.
Do you have a New Year's resolution?
No, because I never keep them anyway. Why bother?
Anything embarrassing?
I ate pedicure mixture, thinking that it was some creamy food at the last will call in Hershey , PA.
Got arrested?
Nope.
Did you get sick this year?
I got a lousy, long-lasting bronchial infection in early December.
Start a new hobby?
Photography
Are you happy to see 2008 go?
Nope, but I am looking forward to 2009.
