This was the best summary and review of "The Cost of Living" that I have read so far:

Brilliant brilliant review. LOVED it. You should link to it on the Michael Emerson boards to let the people there think about it too.

That's an good read. Some interesting theories, but I don't know if I believe the one that Juliet is entirely on Ben's side. It just seems like there is some genuine animosity there, such as the book club comment he made to her when the Losties first crash.

Even if the videotape thing really is a con, I still think she clearly harbors some sort of resentment towards him. I think the whole '"Carrie" being her favorite book' thing makes more sense with her actually secretly wanting to kill him.

Yep, they don't like each other. It's either a power struggle or a love affair gone wrong.

This review is first posted on the Internet Movie Database (www.imdb.com) boards under "Lost."

DarkUFO is wonderful and graciously posts the review of each episode titled "Things I Noticed (and then the episode name) on his/her site, but the reviewer (vozzek69) and DarkUFO are both posters on the imdb board.

There are some great discussions that go on, on that board, if you can make it through the trolls, which are common for popular movies/tv shows, on that site. But soon, you get to know who's who and what's what.

Every Thursday afternoon-ish, look for the original review by username: vozzek69 - - DarkUFO also shortly posts vozz's review on his/her site, as well.

Great stuff! I'm glad to see support for this - vozz has some great thoughts and there are lots of great discussions in any imdb thread vozz starts.

I think he's right on the money with the 'manifestation' theory.

Cheers!

Thanks for the info. I just started browsing through DarkUFO. I love that site, it is quite up to par with humpys.net.
