Too Cute for Words

My first movie was Walt Disney's Bambi. I was 3 years old. It touched my heart so much. Of course, when Bambi lost his mother, it affected me very much. At three, you can't imagine life without your mother. But I was also delighted in Thumper's and Bambi's friendship. And now, I am proud to show you a true-life Bambi and Thumper type of friendship. Just click on the LJ-cut to view it.

Bambi and Thumper

Two of the world's most renowned shy and timid creatures have found each other in safe companionship...through the lenses of Tanja Askani

I really think animals are a lot more intelligent than we give them credit for, and I'm not just talking about instinct. This is beyond adorable, Edith. Thanks for sharing!

Beautiful. Moments like that are one of the reasons why I don't think I could possibly survive without animals around me, and as a part of my life.

OMG, that's so pwecious!!!!!!!!!! (Reminds me of my efforts of late to introduce my cockatiel to my very sweet bunny, who's just a big, sweet butterball of unconditional love ... but speaking of timid and shy, Birdie spooks at the silliest things ... like Aoife's efforts to "kiss" him. She has the softest kisses, which she dispenses at the slightest provocation. However, Birdie doesn't mind sharing a carrot with her even though he only spits his out. He figures if somebody else is eating it, it must be good. Kind of like a dog, huh? Plus orange his favorite color! I must get photos one of these days.)

PS: Almost as pwecious as the unlikely pairing of Ben and Bunny 8, isn't it? ;)
