Obscure things about me
1. I love chocolate, but not chocolate cake or chocolate ice cream.
2. My favorite authors are Anne Tyler and Garrison Keillor.
3. I played the clarinet in high school. One month after I learned to play the instrument, I was promoted to first clarinet, 2nd seat. (I never played any instrument before I learned to play the clarinet.)
4. I no longer play any instrument.
5. I can't do simple arithmetic, but I can do high-powered abstract math. When I was 26, during a routine test in my speech therapy class, I was diagnosed having a mild case of dyslexia. I was so relieved. I now knew why I always had difficulties with arithmetic. Up until then, I thought that I was dumb.
7. I once met Garrison Keillor, and he was mesmerized by my Norwegian middle name. (Guess what it is. It starts with an "S".)
8. I didn't get my driver's license until I was 21 and didn't drive until I was 27.
9. One of my ex-boy friends was a roadie for the Grateful Dead; another is a famous cartoonist for DC Comics.
10. I was originally going to go the first Woodstock Festival and my then- boyfriend refused to take me with him. Today, I am glad, because my father would have died had I been there.
Okay, so now I tag
But you don't have to worry if you don't want to do this meme.

I still don't have my driver's license and I'm almost 19. Probably won't get it until I'm 65 XD

Even if I were to breach the confidentiality trust we have, I don't think you'd want it. He is 58 years old, used to be jerk and, from the sounds of the interviews I read about him, probably still is.

I guess, it depends where you live. I didn't need it while I lived in NYC and Pittsburgh. Those two cities had great public transportation system.

Yeah, I suppose it does. I live in Vancouver and our public transit is quite good, plus I bike almost everywhere. It's good for the enviroment! *hugs a tree*

I love that I have his earlier drawings. I'm sure they are worth quite a bit. But they are not for sale. Can't sell a memory.

They are worth quite a bit. My children can sell them when I'm gone. Till then, they are safely put away.

I used to play the trombone in high school and was quite good at it but could not put a song together not if my life depended on it!
And I also like chocolate but don't like chocolate cake. Chocolate ice cream is yummy, tho.
And awesome about Garrison Keillor!

I'll do it sometime this week, when I finish my book reviewing!
