Michael Emerson's Visit to a High School in Hawaii.
"Lost" Star Visits Students
Michael Emerson, who stars as Ben in the hit ABC series "Lost", visited 'Iolani School on Tuesday, October 30, speaking to the cast and crew of Antigone and members of the Lost Fan Club.
Emerson got his start in acting as a member of his high school's Speech and Debate Team in Toledo, Iowa. He studied theater and art at Drake University and then moved to New York City because "I thought that's what all actors did," he said.
Emerson talked about his career and his big breaks. He discussed the differences between acting on stage versus for film. He also revealed what working on a series like "Lost" is really like.
Emerson enjoys learning from seasoned actors who serve as great mentors and examples. Students asked questions following his talk. Emerson graciously signed autographs and posed for pictures. The fourth season of "Lost" will begin airing on ABC in February.

My school did an amazing production of Antigone. I wasn't in it because it was upper school and I was in eighth grade. :( But it was beautiful. I love that play. ♥
It's cool that Michael went!
