A Little Pleasure to a Sick Woman (Take Sick to Mean Both Ways)
I just bought tickets to the see A Prairie Home Companion (APHC) at the Filene Center at Wolf Trap (virtual tour) on May 22 and May 23, 2009. Ticket sale started today at noon. I was logged in exactly at noon. The best tickets that I could get were as follows:
Side left, row U on Friday, Loge (upper balcony) on Sunday.
Then I had an epiphany. I looked again and found orchestra pit (much more expensive), second row. Cool. I am selling the Loge seats. There are four of them. If anybody is interested, contact me. Otherwise, I'll sell them closer to the date of the show: May 23, 2009.
Here's what the seating arrangements look like:

Here's my view on Friday:

Here's the view from the Loge:

And here's an approximate view that I'll have on Saturday:

I will be way closer. Right at the pit. The last time I sat in the pit was for a Harry Connick, Jr. concert. We could see the sweat drop off his face, that's how close the seats are. This should be interesting. The best seat I ever had was my very first APHC viewing in 2002. I sat in the third row, dead center.
So, I am so excited about this opportunity that I forgot that my face is in pain. LOL. So GK has a purpose after all.

Hope you enjoy the show.
I'm planning on going to see A Prairie Home Companion at the Fitzgerald theater sometime in the near future. I hope I can get good seats. (and that they're not too pricy.)

I'll have to print out the pic of me with GK and see if you can get it autographed for me. :D
