If you think that I am crazy....

I found a blog in which the author actually prepared GK's astrology. Now,I have been a fan of GK for over 23 years, but I have never gone this far for any of my fangirl craziness

It's Mr Keillor's birthday today - born 7 August 1942 in Anoka, Minnesota at 6.42am (Astrotheme's time)

Sun, ascendant, Mercury and Pluto in Leo (also Chiron), Uranus, Saturn and Moon in Gemini, Mars and Neptune in Virgo, Venus and Jupiter in Cancer.

Leo and Gemini rule this roost - and so appropriately too. He comes across as a typically warm, ebullient Leo with all the communication skills of Gemini, lightly touched by the sensitivity of Cancer and perfectionism of Virgo.

Planets in his natal chart inhabit only 4 of the 12 signs, condensing the qualities of these and bringing acute focus to houses 1, 10, 11 and 12 - self, career, hopes, wishes and group associations, and some withdrawal and isolation needed for writing and preparation.

He's a likeble character - I have only one complaint: he endorsed Barack Obama. I suppose I must forgive him that - nobody's perfect (wink).

Hmmm, the fact that he endorsed Barack Obama makes him quite likeable as far as I am concerned (wink).

How can that person be a GK fan and not like Obama??

I don't know. It's hard to believe. But he does have a lot of fans who don't agree with him in politics. I guess, some people like his faith.

That could be.

Haha. I guess I'm bat poo insane, then. I've done this before. A few times actually. XD Not with GK, though. Just a few other geniuses of whom I'm a huge fan of. It kind of sucked without having birth time though. It's not as detailed.

Yeah, but this woman actually found out the hour of his birth. How much digging did she have to do to get that information?

Probably an insane amount, if it's accurate. An accurate birth time isn't easy to find unless you have access to a copy of their Birth Certificate. Even then, it isn't always accurate.

The Leo ascendant does make some sense, though. I'm more interested in house placements, myself, but even with my general dislike of the misplaced importance of the ascendant, it would make sense. If you can consider astrology sensical, lol.

I've always wondered how they find out celebrities' time of birth for these things myself. Do you suppose GK gave out the information somewhere? I mean, how do you get a copy of someone else's birth certificate???

Anyway, if you have the place and time of birth, it's real easy to do a chart for someone--all you do is go to a site like this one, plug in the information, and you're a click away from a birth chart.
