Firefox 3

Could someone from my f/list who has Firefox 3 tell me what is so great about this version? For the life of me, I can't see any difference from my previous edition.

I'm curious too...I've been using it for a bit and it looks the same to me...*shrugs*

The difference is half of my add-ons are no longer usable and I feel as if I'm browsing in the dark ages of 1996 again. And I guess, the default themes. It doesn't even seem that fast, which was the reason I couldn't wait to dl it.

Mine all worked! Keep checking - and check on the ORIGINAL site for the addons - not just mozilla.com - I found a lot of mine were updated there but not on mozilla.com

I know that the coding for Forefox 3 is completely different so they all had to go re-work add-ons. The majority of mine are working, I'm just waiting on FireFTP, TorrentBar and a pretty black theme that allows favicons in the bookmark bar. :)

I haven't downloaded it yet. I'm much too lazy to update my software these days...

But from what I'm hearing, I'm probably in no hurry to get it...

Is Firefox 3 out of beta yet? The last review I read said it was still kind of buggy so I haven't downloaded it yet.
From what I've read it looks like there are a few changes but nothing really major.

Personally, the few changes I do notice are really bugging me.

I'm finding it VERY VERY stable. I let it run for 48 hours, and it didn't crash once. Uses much less memory, too.

Loads faster, as well.
