So I was quoted and they got my sex wrong....

It's no secret that I like Garrison Keillor. It's no secret that I post quite a bit about him. It's no secret that I am pissed that I wasn't able to attend the Memorial Day's broadcast from Wolf Trap, Vienna, VA. So, because I missed the live broadcast and was not able to be part of the audience, I try to read anything and everything I can about that event. I actually went ahead and commented on a few blogs. And, today, to my surprise, found one of my comments quoted in another blog. The sad part is that the blogger mistook me for a male and not a female. Oh, well.

People who quote from my "serious" blog always assume I'm male also. I only use my first and middle intials--not my very feminine first name--so I guess I only have myself to blame.

But your name is on your blog and clearly a female name. Tsk-tsk on that guy.

That article seems a bit offensive anyway. There's nothing wrong with being really excited at seeing an entertainer that close. And I'm pretty sure not just Midwesterners adore Garrison. I like him too, and I'm not the only one on the east coast.
