Bernadette Peters kicks off Cerritos Center 2008-09 season

Dr. Scott M. Lieberman, Associated Press SHE'S GOT IT ALL: Actress, singer, comedian, and two time Tony award winner Bernadette Peters is heading to Cerritos.

The Broadway star's show will feature songs from her long stage career. The lineup also includes musicals 'Simply Ballroom,' 'The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee' and 'Chicago.'

Broadway star Bernadette Peters will launch the 2008-09 season at the Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts on Aug. 16 with a show of songs drawn from her long stage career.

Wow - the woman never ages, does she?

Finally a woman who is okay with herself growing older. I suppose it helps that she has phenomenal genes, and I'm no expert in the least, but it looks like she hasn't joined the botox/plastic surgery brigade.

Yes. She is perfectly comfortable with herself and her body. Of course, she is a fabulous person with a great body. (I am a great fan, if you haven't noticed, yet.)

Gorgeous. She walked into the audience and sang to my husband during "There Is Nothing Like a Dame" when she performed in Cleveland last month. She doesn't look more than 40 years old up close. A great night!
