Update on Brie #4: Good News

Brie perked up. The blood transfusion worked. We were informed by the staff that she ate on her own, got mad at the staff when they removed her EKG pads from her paws, and tried to escape her cage. Abbie confirmed the report when she and Jack visited Brie early this afternoon. We witnessed it ourselves when we came to visit her in the evening. There was an emergency case in the ICU, and, since Brie was well enough, they brought her to one of the examination rooms and let us bond with her. Brie's eyes were full of life, even though, by the time we got there, she was a bit tired. Yes, there is a light at the end of the tunnel, and we are hoping that it continues to shine for us.
