Aw, that was sweet.

Unfortunately, it reminds me of the time I was talking to one of the women who runs the big cat exhibits at the National Zoo. They try ever year to discourage ducks from nesting and breeding in the tiger and lion moats. But every year they do--and every year children are traumatized as the big cats get to practice their hunting skills on tiny fuzzy ducks :(

At least that is a much more natural "circle of life" end than being hit by a car.
